Galileo flow sensor clog alert

Be alerted to a clog event by an indicator light built right into your flow sensor!

Measurement drift and flow sensor clogging can be due to bio-fouling, particles and cell debris, and are common occurrences with other flow sensors, but often silent for the user, as you are not alerted to the fact.

The Galileo flow sensor base features a STATUS indicator based on a ‘traffic light’ alert scale to clearly show internal clogging (red), partial clogging (yellow), and all clear (green). 

Below, we demonstrate Galileo’s clog alert feature by flowing polystyrene beads in the system to induce clog events. Clog events either resolved naturally or were dislodged by the operator using a short pressure spike.
